Sit there, in still motion, waiting for some emotion. Nothing but a tear falls down her face. Been living in fear, falling behind the pace. Trying to make everyone proud, forgets to put herself first, she falls behind, and she’s last to the finish line. Lost but no where to be found. Don’t know why she does it yet she still does it. She feels it rushing through her veins, no more feeling the pain. Confused, don’t know what she’s doing, but better than being scared and knowing what she’s doing… back to the dead, feeling herself dying. Trapped inside herself, she hears herself crying. I watch her throw her life away, letting her drown and then everything was so still and so silent, words left unspoken… she’s broken. Don’t know what hurts the most, the images or the tears streaming down her face, she’s just all on her own, there’s no one there to catch her when she falls, or holding her hand through everything.. It’s me, myself and I against the world. This is my life, this is reality.
